May blog post, Final Steering group and Final reports

Since the last blog post in March time has moved very quickly and is being spent collating evaluation material and producing resources. All of which will be posted here in due course. We have been working on the final formal report for JISC; this is in the draft stages at the moment but will be available once completed. The report will document the project in detail and provide more information for other Institutions wishing to incorporate technology into their assessment and feedback practices. The report will also detail the approach we took including our reflections on what could have been done differently. The final steering group will meet on the 23rd May to discuss aspects of the project.

We have been collecting feedback from Schools on the consultation paper which outlined a framework of three assessment and feedback processes. This has been achieved by attendance at School meetings and Faculty Learning and Teaching Committees. The feedback collated from Schools will be fed back into the project.
We have also been focusing on wider dissemination of the project our approach and findings. We are presenting aspects of the project at the International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education in Rhodes in July and the SOLSTICE conference at Edgehill University in June. We have submitted a paper proposal to the SEDA annual conference.

The next and final steps of the project will be the publication of the final report and the dissemination of any of our findings. Staff experiences of using different technology to provide feedback to students will be posted here.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
